Bell, Ryniker & Letourneau attorneys hail from diverse law schools and backgrounds,
bringing varied educational and practical experience. Law schools
include: George Washington University Law Center, Fordham University
School of Law, Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of
William & Mary and Tulane University Law School. A number
of the firm's attorneys have served in seagoing and shoreside
capacities in the maritime industry and the United States Coast
Guard. One of the attorneys is a professionally licensed aviation
pilot, while two others are licensed as professional mariners
by the U.S. Coast Guard. The firm’s attorneys also participate
in professional, community, and business activities. Professional
activities outside Bell, Ryniker & Letourneau include lecturing
at the University of Houston Law Center and the Texas A&M
Maritime College at Galveston; lecturing at the annual University
of Texas Admiralty Law Programs, the State Bar of Texas Admiralty
Law Programs, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute;
and participation in the Houston Marine Insurance Seminar Planning
Committee, Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce, the Defense
Research Institute, Propeller Club, and the Maritime Law Association
of the United States.
